Senior Designer


Senior Designer

Position Overview:

This position is based in the Boston Office. The person in this role will be responsible for company branding initiatives, conceptualization, and implementation of design solutions. It is important that this person is comfortable taking a lead role on various projects. It requires supervising intermediate designers in creating concepts, compositions, and layouts. The position also necessitates development, administering schedules, performance requirements, and adhering to strict deadlines.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Establish the creative strategy for new product lines, projects, and initiatives
  • Develop go to market materials, collateral, and digital assets aligned with the Cerulli brand
  • Work with design associate to develop and implement brand standards
  • Partner with the marketing and IT teams to innovate the Cerulli client experience
  • Deliver conceptual design and implementation globally
  • Develop powerpoint presentation for Cerulli analysts
  • Participate in editorial and marketing meetings
  • Work with outside vendors
  • Evaluate efficiency for improvement via new tools and technology
  • Build process documents and style guides
  • Manage and maintain timelines for multiple projects
  • Develop and execute multimedia strategy, including the planning and execution of new videos to highlight product and service lines, and Cerulli culture



  • 6+ years of design experience and B.A. or B.S. degree (digital design preferred)
  • Financial services experience
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Constant Contact (QuarkXPress experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with content management systems (Umbraco experience a plus)
  • Copious attention to detail
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage team within strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player willing to share knowledge and help design associates evolve
  • Proofreading acumen
  • Previous and demonstrable experience with charts and layout
  • Eagerness and willingness to develop industry knowledge
  • High-level proficiency in design, web, and multimedia software and applications
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Specialized knowledge of methods/techniques of graphic design and layout
  • Confidence to delegate tasks
  • Creative thinking and ability to deliver concepts
